Our Mission & Vision

TO evangelize our community, state, country, and world through proclaiming the Word of God and calling people everywhere to respond to Jesus Christ through faith

TO exalt the name of Jesus Christ through individual and corporate worship

TO disciple the saints for the work of the ministry through instruction so the body may grow in the knowledge of the Son of God, to become mature disciples, and to fulfill the measure of the stature, which belongs to the fullness of Christ

TO fellowship by means of encouraging one another and building up the Body into a community of faith, through friendship and the love of Christ

TO minister to our community by identifying people who are in need and aggressively using available resources to meet those needs in the name of Christ.

Constitution and Bylaws

The Constitution and ByLaws serve as the foundation of our rights and expectations as memebers and leaders of Pine Hill Baptist Church. They hold all accountable, and help all work together for one purpose.  They provide the statements of our faith, and ensure that our church body is governed in a spirit of unity (Ephesians 4).

Ephesians 4:15-16 15Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ. 16 From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.

The Constitution and ByLaws tell us “Who we are, and what we can do.”

Policies and Procedures

The Policies and Procedures tell us how we perform the regular activities that it takes to operate the church, as members and leaders. Organizations, no matter what type or size, need to define how they do what they do. This allows everyone involved to decide in advance the procedures they use to do their jobs. For a church this can help keep peace and unity.(Colossians 3)

Colossians 3:12-14 12Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. 13Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. 14And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.

The Policies and Procedures Manual tell us “How we do what we can do.”
